At 1,700 meters above sea level, the Cafayate Valley in Northwest Argentina is the highest wine region in the world. Where others just saw a desert with rocky, poor and sandy soils, Donald Hess foresaw a formidable terroir.

Introducing Amalaya White. With a sweet entry full of weight, subtle and complex fruity aromas, mineral notes and a touch of honey, the end is fresh with a kind acidity. One of three marvels that Canada’s wine experts at Lifford Wine Agency have selected for the delight of our guests for the après-ride at our Caledon Gran Allenamento, on Sunday September 9th.

A Gran Allenamento is about an experience like no other, both on and off the bike.

It starts with like-minded riders with a common passion: cycling with no compromise – it’s about a lifestyle, un art de vivre.

It takes a great amount of work from a multitude of partners: each one is the best at what they do, and fills a very special piece in our lifestyle puzzle. When it comes to the art of wine pairing and tasting, there is no better party than our friends at Lifford, Canada’s leading wine agency.

On September 9th at our Caledon Gran Allenamento, three spectacular vintages will be served during the social aperitif and the gourmet lunch: Amalaya White, Hess Select Chardonnay and L’Artisan Saint Chinian Languedoc.

Join us and discover gems from Argentina, California and France. Take advantage of the spots that are still available. Learn more about the Caledon Gran Allenamento and register here.
